Waterfront Interpretive Signage

omloop has designed a series of historic information structures along the Reserved Channel in South Boston. This under-utilized industrial waterfront is being developed into a pedestrian walkway that serves as a key link between South Boston and the Seaport District. The interpretive panels illuminate the history of the channel, explaining its role in the filling of Boston Harbor, the early industries that sprang up and built their wharves, and the adaptive reuse of the Army Base and Naval Annex.
